BAAK calls it Backing: what supports and legitimises you.

A stem of the element that generates your Build, with the opposite polarity. It is one half of the Resource pair 印; the other half is Insight 偏印.

You absorb complex lore overnight, then break it down for everyone else like you have been doing it for years

What arrives without being worked for

You absorb fast and you transmit well. Complicated material goes in and comes out of you in a form other people can use, which is why you end up explaining things you were only supposed to be learning.

What the same wiring costs

You will read about the thing, take notes on the thing, explain the thing to two friends, and never once actually do the thing.

The same force, five ways.

Backing is a relationship rather than a substance, so it can be made of any of the five. What it does to you is the relationship; what it looks like from outside is the element.

Drive木

You explain it once, then keep checking on them for eight months, and they never notice you are still teaching them.

Emotion火

You explain it once in front of everybody, and two years later somebody is still quoting your version back to you.

Calm土

People dump their worst messes and private secrets on you because your vault never leaks.

Logic金

You remember an obscure detail from an old document just in time to prevent a mistake.

Flow水

You picked it up without studying, simply because you were around it long enough to absorb it.
